MTAA has launched its Semester Two Training Calendar which features new modules in the areas of reimbursement of medical technology and a new E-Learning series.
The training program features a range of face to face modules which are available to MTAA members and Non Members at various capital cities around Australia. The following courses are available:
1.0 Regulation of Medical Technology
This course consists of a series of modules designed to support employees working in the regulatory areas.
2.0 MTAA/MIANZ Code of Practice
Under the Code of Practice there are specific obligations which need to be noted to ensure that companies are compliant with the Code. This course is designed for all employees in the medical technology industry and the course has been recently revised to reflect the 3rd Edition of the Code.
3.0 Working with Healthcare Professionals
This course offers a range of modules for industry employees who interact with healthcare professionals and reinforces the skill sets required to work effectively with healthcare professionals. This course also includes Operating Theatre Protocols required to comply with ACCORN Standards.
4.0 Reimbursement of Medical Technology
This course offers modules for industry employees working in the areas of reimbursement and includes specific modules for IVDs, Prostheses Listing and MSAC.
In addition, the following E-Learning Series is now available:
MTAA in association with Seerpharma is offering a new and innovative online Medical Devices (MD) and Regulatory and Quality E-learning series. The MD Series has been specifically designed for managers, supervisors and professionals within the medical technology industry.
There are currently nine modules available and each modules provides up to 45 minutes of 24/7 interactive online training, online assessment and a Certificate of Completion. E-Learning can be accesses via the Professional Development section of the MTAA website or by clicking here.
