2009 Kerrin Rennie Award

Medical technology saves and improves lives by detecting diseases earlier and by providing more effective treatment options for patients and the healthcare system.
This award by the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) wishes to recognise the innovative and extraordinary contribution of medical technology in improving health outcomes of Australian patients.
A company can enter a product launched in Australia between 1 January 2008 and 1 August 2009 used in the diagnosis, prevention, treatment or management of disease and disability.
Applications close on Friday 7 August and the winner will be announced at the MTAA Conference Dinner in Sydney on Wednesday 23 September 2009.
