New MTAA Chair announced

Dr Bronwyn Evans, Senior Vice President, Quality and Regulatory, for Cochlear Limited, was announced as the new Chair of the Medical Technology Association of Australia Limited (MTAA).  Dr Evans was elected at yesterday’s Board meeting after Simon Hearne had to step down as Chair after accepting an overseas posting from his company, 3M.

Medical technology plays an important part in a modern healthcare system. MTAA wants to ensure the benefits of modern and innovative health technology are accessible and valued.”
