MTAA Events

MTAA provides regular opportunities for members and non-members to meet and network with industry colleagues, customers, regulators, government officials and leaders whose thoughts and actions influence the healthcare environment.

Regular events include MedTech Seminars, networking functions in capital cities, targetted forums for example for CEOs, online and face-to-face discussion groups for specific topics or audiences, as well as the annual MedTech conference and Kerrin Rennie Award.

MedTech Forums

MTAA MedTech Forums are designed to explore topical issues significant to the medical technology industry. Experts in the field will address different aspects of a topic, providing premium insight and aspects for consideration. Delegates will be invited to ask questions from the floor during the concluding panel discussion. Please click here to learn more and register for a current event.

CEO Forums

CEOs across the medical technology industry have limited opportunity to engage in high level roundtable discussions. The forums provide an opportunity for MTAA member senior executives to come together and discuss key issues of relevance to the medical technology industry.

Three forums will be held each year in Sydney and hosted by Anne Trimmer, MTAA CEO. Only Chief Executive Officers, Vice Presidents, National Directors and Managing Directors are eligible to attend. To learn more, please visit Information Sharing under Professional Development.

MedTech Seminars

MTAA is hosting the MedTech Seminar series to provide opportunities for industry employees to come together and discuss key medical technology industry issues. Keynote speakers will be invited to present on a theme, and in some instances will be supported by a panel discussion. To learn more about current seminars, please click here.

Webytes Series

Webytes is a free, member only series of online seminars using web conferencing technology to deliver short presentations about topics of interest for the industry. Webytes means "bite sized" learning delivered to your desk. To learn more, please log on to the Member section of the website and visit Member Events.

Briefing Meetings

MTAA offers a number of member only briefing meetings each year. These may be delivered as face-to-face meetings, online meetings or a combination of both.

Networking Functions

There are five networking functions being held each year. Each of them will be in a different capital city in Australia. Networking functions are held in conjunction with MTAA Board meetings and are a good opportunity to meet with senior executives from members companies. The functions are free of charge.
