Women in MedTech White Paper Launch

Join our breakfast event to launch the Women in MedTech White Paper.

 

The White Paper has been developed to share current practices, tools, resources and insights, as a practical resource to assist MTAA members accelerate their progress in gender diversity.  The White Paper builds on the success of MTAA’s Women in MedTech (WiMT) initiative, as highlighted by the quality of the nominations for last year’s WiMT awards.

 

Keynote speakers at the launch will include the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and industry leaders sharing their experiences and success.

MTAA Invites Members to Parliament House

MTAA's Life Changing Impact of MedTech Function in Parliament House is our premier event in Canberra where we will hear from patient stories about the life changing impact of Medical Technology.

 

This event is the highlight of our engagement with Parliamentarians as part of our 2018 advocacy program and builds on the success of our inaugural event held in Parliament last year.

 

Date: Tuesday 19th June 2018

Meeting time: 5:30pm-7:30pm

Value-Based Healthcare Summit looks at a new health paradigm

MTAA held the Value-Based Healthcare Summit bringing together policy makers, patient advocates, providers, payers, and medical device companies to discuss this new health paradigm.

 

MTAA would like to thank all the keynote speakers, panelists, facilitators and delegates for their thoughtful discussion on Value-Based Healthcare and the future of the MedTech industry.

BioMedTech Horizon program funds first in human trials to restore sight

The Government announced the first 11 recipients from the $35 million BioMedTech Horizons program.

 

The program aims to support the development of new and innovative technologies by Australian MedTech companies.

 

Clinical Trials 2018 National Tribute & Awards Ceremony

MTAA will be supporting the Clinical Trials 2018 National Tribute and Awards Ceremony hosted by the Australian Clinical Trials Alliance (ACTA) on Wednesday May 16th Melbourne.

 

This annual event will form part of Australia’s celebrations to mark International Clinical Trials Day (celebrated around the world on May 20th each year), and the Minister for Health, the Hon Greg Hunt MP, will present the prestigious ACTA Trial of the Year Awards.

 

17th National Health Insurance Summit - 15% Member discount
