Mentor
A mentor is an employee of an MTAA Member organisation (Check Full and Associate member list). A mentor is someone who shares knowledge, offers advice, shares experiences and provides support to assist in the career, professional and personal growth of a less experienced person. No fee to participate.
Requirements:
- Is an employee of an MTAA Member organisation who has experience in a Management, Leadership or a subject matter expert position with at least 2 year’s work experience within the MedTech industry.
- A letter from your employer stating their permission for the employee to participate in the program.
- Complete the online Application Form.
- Commit to the program for its duration of 9-12 months.
- Participate in a minimum of four mentoring sessions, attend regular mentoring program events, and complete program evaluation.
- Agree to sign and adhere to a Mentoring agreement including confidentiality with Mentee.
- Member company must retain membership with MTAA for the duration of the program.
Mentee
Applications for mentees are now closed.
A mentee is a female employee from an MTAA Member organisation (Check Full and Associate member list) and who identifies as one or more of these areas:
- Works within the MedTech or Healthcare industry
- Wants to gain assistance in progressing their career goals within the MedTech industry
- Willing to listen, learn and challenge their ideas to get the most out of the mentoring relationship.
Mentoring methods and their execution vary according to the mentor and mentees’ personalities, working styles and the dynamics created together in their partnership/journey. Participants are encouraged to join the program with an open mind and a flexible approach to developing mentoring partnerships.

MTAA Mentoring Program Process

- MTAA will contact you about your Mentor/Mentee pairing.
