Prostheses List Update 24.6.2021

The MTAA Board has agreed to continue to advocate for MTAA’s reform proposal as the most reasonable way of achieving savings while preserving patient access and maintaining industry viability.

MTAA will continue to communicate on this issue with the Government, including the Minister, in the coming weeks, while maintaining its public advocacy on the value of the PL and the results of any potential detrimental reforms.

The Department is expected to announce details of consultation on various elements of the reform shortly.

In the meantime, MTAA has six different working groups preparing for engagement on reform issues.
