Environmental Sustainability
Environmental sustainability is an area of increasing focus across the health care system and will require ongoing collaboration between government, suppliers, clinicians, and health service organisations to ensure high quality, clinically safe care can be done in a way that minimises its environmental impact.
MTAA Sustainability Forum
MTAA convenes a dedicated Sustainability Forum for members interested in collaborating, sharing initiatives, and shaping industry-wide action on sustainability.
Our members are currently advancing work in four key focus areas:
- Healthcare decarbonisation
- Circular economy and waste reduction
- Sustainable and resilient supply chains
- Sustainable procurement
