Preparing For The Executive Leap
The Mindset, Habits and Energy of High‑Performing Leaders
The Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) is proud to partner with Innov8Search to support professional growth and executive career progression across Australia’s MedTech industry.
Preparing for the Executive Leap is a strategic, high‑impact workshop led by Tara Sharma, ANZ’s specialist executive search partner for MedTech C‑Suite and D‑Suite leadership appointments.
Working closely with MedTech CEOs, Boards and Executive Leadership Teams across Australia and New Zealand, Tara brings a rare and trusted perspective into what truly differentiates leaders who are elevated to enterprise leadership from those who remain strong functional performers.
As MedTech organisations scale, commercialise and evolve, the pathway to executive leadership demands more than technical excellence or years of experience. It requires executive mindset, commercial judgement, organisational influence and leadership presence—the capabilities expected at enterprise level.
This session is designed to help you understand how executive readiness is assessed, and how to intentionally position yourself for the next stage of your leadership journey.
In this session, you’ll explore:
- What CEOs and Executive Teams prioritise when appointing senior leaders
- How executive search partners assess readiness for C‑Suite and D‑Suite appointments
- The mindset, habits and energy that distinguish high‑performing executives
- How to build visibility, credibility and gravitas before seeking expanded accountability
- Practical strategies to position yourself for executive progression
Grounded in real executive search engagements and senior leadership appointments across ANZ, this workshop combines strategic insight with practical guidance—giving participants clarity, confidence and competitive edge as they prepare for executive leadership.
