Purpose:
To to inform, navigate and lead members regarding activities in the evolving landscape of environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
Objectives:
Educate Medtech companies on new regulations and policies that will impact members in the short to long term. This could include organising workshops, webinars, and distributing informative materials.
Proactively engage with key governments on any sustainability regulatory changes. This involves timely responses to consultations, active participation in regulatory discussions, and advocating for the interests of MTAA members.
Establish and strengthen partnerships with other key stakeholders to participate in sustainability activities involving health service organisations. This could include collaborative projects, joint initiatives, and sharing best practices to promote sustainability in the healthcare sector.
Encourage local MedTech manufacturers to incorporate into design of their products & packaging, circularity and sustainability principles.
