Introduction
The COVID-19 pandemic has placed extraordinary demands on health professionals in Australia. Doctors, nurses and other health workers have faced increased workloads, the practical and psychological difficulties involved in managing infection control and the stress associated with exposing themselves and their families to COVID through their work.
The MTAA has created this award to recognise the exceptional contribution made by health professionals in supporting Australia’s COVID response.
We are seeking nominations from community members, patients, colleagues, and peers of health professionals who have made an exceptional contribution to Australia’s COVID-19 response.
