How to Enrol in the 2.1 Code of Practice Edition 13 Online Training  

Many company representatives who recently enroled or completed Code of Practice Edition 11 training in 2022 on our new training platform, ChalkPort, have been auto-enroled to complete the Code E13 training. Company Representatives who would fall within the auto-enrolment must use the instructions below to access the Code E13 training.  

 
 NOTE FOR HR AND TRAINING MANAGERS

Please update your internal communications so that your company representatives have the latest instructions on their training obligations and how to complete the MTAA Code Training. Detailed enrolment instructions and troubleshooting are stated below for you to include in your internal communications.


Auto Enrolment

Who: For company representatives who have an existing ChalkPort account   

Requirement: You have been auto-enroled by your organsation to complete the 2.1 Code of Practice Edition 13 training. You must complete the updated Code Edition 13 regardless of having completed previous editions of the Code training.  Follow the instructions below to fulfill your auto-enrolment via Chalkport.

Instructions:

  1. Log on to www.chalkport.com/mtaaolc using your username and password (do not use your MTAA login credentials)
  2. Follow the course prompts to complete your training.
 
What if the training course is not showing?

If the 2.1 Code of Practice Edition 13 course is not showing in your learning portal, please enrol by following the below instructions titled Applying Member Discount - code23#

Applying Member Discount - code23#

Who: MTAA Members receive free Code training. Please follow these instructions if:

  1. You have not created an account in ChalkPort (i.e., have no existing account); or
  2. You followed the above Auto Enrolment instructions and you cannot see the 2.1 Code of Practice Edition 13 training in your learning portal. 

Instructions:

  1. Click here to enrol for 2.1 Code of Practice Edition 13.
  2. Click Add to Enrolment then click on Enrol Now. After this stage, one of three options may apply to you:

    If this is your first enrolment using ChalkPort

    Please create a new account with your work email and select your company from the list.    

     
     If you have an existing account from a previous employer

    Update your profile by emailing pd@mtaa.org.au or calling 02 9900 0600 and selecting PD during the phone prompts. Do not create a new account. Wait for MTAA's confirmation.

     
     If you have recently created a Chalkport account

    If you have recently created an account in ChalkPort, but have not been auto-enroled to complete the code training, you can log on with your email to enrol for the code training. 

  4. A $99 fee will be shown, however, this course is complimentary for MTAA members using the discount code23#.
  5. Apply the discount code and click Continue to complete the $0 transaction.
  6. Your application will be successful and you can log in now to complete your training. 
  7. When you log in, please your Chalkport credentials (not your MTAA login credentials).

Troubleshooting

 
ERROR MESSAGE: "You are currently enrolled in one or more of your selected units"

If the message "You are currently enrolled in one or more of your selected units” appears after you click continue, please use the Auto Enrol link (www.chalkport.com/mtaaolc) to complete your training.

 
 I forgot my password

Click here to recover your password. Check your junk folder for the subject Learn Centre Password Recovery.

 
 How do I receive my certificate?

Upon completion, a digital code training certificate will be available via your portal.

 
 How do I access training that I have not completed?

As this is a self-paced training, you can log on at any time at www.chalkport.com/mtaaolc to complete your training
