Current State of Gender Equality - An International Women's Day Networking Event
MTAA invites the MedTech community to celebrate an early edition of International Women's Day (IWD) with a special networking event, sponsored by PPD Search. The new timing of this event is designed to help members build on their own IWD conversation ahead of the official IWD date.
The event will kick off with guest speaker Elizabeth Pettit, Managing Director, PPD Search, discussing the current state of workplace gender equality and how employers are acting to advance gender equality. This will be followed by Q&As and a networking session for attendees to strengthen their business connections, share advice and insights, and open opportunities for support.
Speaker Profile:
Elizabeth is a passionate recruiter who has always strived to be the best. Founding the business, by herself, with just a phone and a desk in 2006, through her drive and tenacity, she has built a robust network of numerous industry leaders in medical device companies and retained these clients, some PPD Search has been recruiting for, for the last 16 years. Elizabeth focuses on recruiting executive and senior roles and developing business relationships.
With 30 years’ experience in the recruitment industry and over 16 years specialising in medical device recruitment, Elizabeth believes that finding the best fit comes from building a trusting relationship, based on shared values and integrity, offering valuable insights that positively influence the hiring process, asking the right questions and providing advice that works for each individual, both client and candidate.
