Managing Modern Slavery Risk in MedTech
MTAA is proud to present this one-hour webinar on Managing Modern Slavery Risk in MedTech: Practical Tools, Levers and Next Steps.
Modern slavery risk management and due diligence expectations are evolving rapidly across healthcare procurement and global medical technology supply chains. For many MTAA members, including distributors, importers and Australian subsidiaries of global manufacturers, understanding what this means in practice, and what can be influenced locally, can be challenging.
Increasingly, healthcare buyers and government procurement bodies are seeking clearer evidence of due diligence, supplier engagement and risk management, reflecting a broader shift beyond reporting toward more robust and demonstrable approaches to managing modern slavery risk, including in a way that moves from compliance to real world impact.
This practical webinar will help MedTech suppliers understand where risk typically sits, what buyers and regulators expect, and how local teams can respond in a credible and proportionate way.
Participants will gain practical insight into the business case, internal levers, and realistic steps they can take to strengthen procurement readiness and risk management.
