9 March Value-Based Procurement Networking Event
Transitioning from a price-based model to a value-based approach will require many stakeholders, including clinicians, MedTech and procurement professionals, to work towards a common goal. Value-based procurement has taken hold in Europe, continuing to gain support as a sustainable model. However, the topic remains at the concept level in Australia.
On Thursday 9 March 2023, MTAA will host a 1-hour networking event to explore the barriers and benefits of a value-based procurement (VBP) future in Australia. Leading the networking discussion will be VBP expert, Richard Charter, VP & Partner, MedTech Market Access - Europe & Asia Pacific of Alira Health. Members are encouraged to discuss his learnings from Europe and the potential of a value-based model in Australia.
