We are looking for Expression of Interest from NSW businesses that would want to participate and take advantage of this truly global opportunity. Participate in the World Expo (Dubai – 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022)
Health and Med-Tech
With more than 190 countries participating and 25 million visitors expected from around the globe, the World Expo in Dubai offers tremendous opportunities for your business. Are you a business that:

The World Expo in Dubai offers you a unique platform to connect with businesses and governments from around the world.
Australia, especially NSW, is considered a world leader in the med-tech sector due to its vibrant research environment. NSW is home to 37% of the nation’s med-tech companies and are at the forefront of adopting new medical innovations, such as 3D bioprinting.
The Middle East and North Africa region will continue to be shaped by increasing public-private partnerships in their expanding health sector. From 2020 to 2021, pharmaceutical expenditure is expected to grow by AUD 1.4 billion, while health spending will grow by AUD 16 billion to AUD 340 billion. Commitment to the health sector remains a priority for the region, which has accelerated its modernisation and expansion.
Investment NSW is partnering with Austrade and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the World Expo to deliver outcomes for NSW companies that are ready to grow their international business.
NSW at the Australia Business Program
Australia’s business program for the health and med-tech industry focuses on an anchor international exhibition held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. During Arab Health, the Australian Pavilion at the World Expo will be hosting events to showcase health and med-tech capabilities to a global audience.

NSW Health and Med-Tech Showcase
During Arab Health, Investment NSW will be hosting the NSW Health and Med-Tech Showcase on 26 January 2022 at the World Expo’s Australian Pavilion, World Expo. The event will be showcasing NSW capabilities and innovations to key industry players and decision-makers.
This event offers you the opportunity to network with senior government officials, industry leaders, investors and businesses.
